Diva Cups have nothing to do with cheesy food

So, many people have been like…”WHAT? Diva cup? What does that have to do with your post on cheesy food?”

Well, the answer is, nothing. I just happened to have been talking to my friend about them, and she was saying that I should write a blog post about them.

You’ll just have to google Diva Cup to find out what we’re talking about. Or I guess since I linked to the site, you can just click it.

The plus sides of Diva Cups are that they are eco-friendly (you don’t have to buy, use, and throw away all of those feminine products into landfills) and you end up saving a lot of money each year. I think it’s about $100 a year?

Also, according to some reliable sources that I grilled with questions, apparently they are extremely comfortable, don’t really move around inside of you, and are safe to leave in for longer periods of time than a tampon.

Could be worth a $30 investment, since you can use them for 5+ years.

Think you get a carrying case as well. SCORE!

This post just came up on my facebook feed. There are way more brands than just the Diva Cup, for anyone who’s interested. I’ve heard that some people find the Diva Cup kind of long, and some of the other brands come in different colors, which is spiffy. There’s a ton of information at http://www.menstrualcups.org.

Right on! Divas need more publicity so that women figure out they aren’t scary and that they’re great for more than just the environment.
