New Paypal App — an iPhone app to check out
I recently updated the Paypal app on my iPhone, which had allowed me to look up customer’s shipping addresses at the post-office or send money via my iPhone, and I must say that I am definitely impressed by the new makeover. The previous application was a kindergartener’s Paypal app, which I was very disappointed with when it first came out, especially coming from a tech/web company.
With the help of a logo redesign and some new nifty features, this application is definitely one to download for free if you have an iPhone and a Paypal account.
I downloaded the app yesterday, but hadn’t had a chance to look at all the features, and then came accross an article on ABC News that highlights one of the exciting new features on the app called “split check” which allows Paypal users to split a check and send money via Paypal to the individual taking on the tab. It allows the person paying to email payment reminders to their party and also use the application’s slider bars to add more $$ to a certain individual who had maybe gotten a more expensive meal or a few more drinks.
