Take me out to the ball game!

Took a break from work-life to catch a San Francisco Giants game with Vickie and her parents. The journey to the game was a ride on BART and then about a 1.2 mile walk to the stadium which was nice since I don’t usually get a lot of exercise during the week. Thank goodness the rain gods didn’t pour it down on us last night, because it would have made my trek way more difficult. This was my second Giants game at AT&T Park and my first adventure sitting in the lower level seats which are definitely worth an extra few dollars if you’ve got it. We got our tickets on Craigslist from a season ticket holder which usually is much cheaper than getting them from the box office.

It was great to see Vickie since she has been in Nashville for awhile now, and her parents as well. In high school we used to see eachother nearly every day, and even on the weekends since we played club basketball together and school basketball and live only a few blocks from eachother.

san francisco giants game

san francisco giants lincecum first loss 2010

Our seats were awesome (thank you craigslist) and under the overhang in case of rain and right next to food. This game has assured me that games are much more fun while you are eating. Too bad Lincecum couldn't pull through.
