This weekend was loaded with hanging out with my aunt and uncle who were here visiting us and my cousins and lots of eating out. They stayed at our house because my cousin had his brother fly in to surprise their mom and dad, so he was in their guest room.
My aunt and uncle are from Columbus, GA and everytime they come out here it’s super fun because not only is my cousin here, but we have other family friends who have moved out here from Georgia as well.

This is a pic of Max from a few weeks ago
We all went out for lunch on Sunday to an Indian Buffet place called Bombay Garden, which was a first for my family, as we don’t usually pick Indian places when we go out with company, but our family friend insisted that it was delicious, and it was.
Then in the evening, we had everyone over to our house for dinner. Nick, one of the sons of our family friends, came over and us kids (me, Phillip and Christina) watched hilarious YouTube videos.

This one courtesy of Nick, which totally brought back memories of freshman year at Pomona, especially of Sean for some reason. We were also talking about how it was one of the first viral videos, back when YouTube had just gotten started…crazy huh?:
This coming Sunday I’m headed to….
The Outsidelands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park in SF
We’re going to see the Avett Brothers play!
Since we’ve got the hookup, we’re getting in free instead of having to pay $75! Yay! I’m excited to see M.I.A. as well.
