It’s been 4 days since I’ve been back from Korea, and I think I’m still a tad bit jet-lagged, but it’s definitely getting better at a steady pace.

I’ve been really bad at uploading pictures, but I was also very bad with using my camera, so I haven’t yet peeped the quality of pics that I ended up taking.

So, Friday was spent sleeping. Saturday was spent sleeping. Sunday, after finding out that I didnt have jury duty, I ventured back up to Oakland and met up with Mana, Thao and a few other people at the Art & Soul Festival. Music, food (lots of food), art vendors…it’s always a blast. It was my second time going and I think that I’m definitely an annual goer.

Last year when I went, I got these bomb blocks of soap. Yes, like the soap you wash your hands with. It smelled soooo good that it actually made me want to take more than one shower a day. At the festival, Wisdom by Wisdom Soaps has a bargain bin where you can get semi-imperfect pieces of soap for cheap. This year I got a strawberry shortcake soap and a soap with a light hint of tea tree oil for $3 each.  The strawberry shortcake one actually smells like it, but its not as strong when you actually use it to wash.

I’m on standby for jury duty this week in Santa Clara County, which is kind of inconvenient because I currently live in Oakland. I need to keep reminding myself to check my standby status….if you talk to me, maybe you could remind me as well.
